Manuscript in Latin on vellum, last quarter 15th century, Dutch, (1 blank),164,(2 blank) lvs., pen and black and red ink, littera textualis, 18 lines to the page, leaves measuring ±16,8x10,9 cm., rubricated in red and blue ink, one 13-line initial w. rich 3/4 pen-flourished margin, 13 richly pen-flourished initials in red, blue and green and red and blue in outer margins, all in the style predominant in the province of South Holland, palimpsest endpapers, contemp. polished blindst. panelled calf over wooden covers, central rectangular ornament w. "tronies", brass catches.

- Final part (±50 lvs.) waterstained causing some ofsetting from the penwork flourishes on the opposite leaf; outer margin sl. cut short (only visible on lvs. w. penwork extending into outer margins); numbered "N.29" in pen and ink on upper pastedown in later hand. Lacks clasps; spine-ends dam.; upper joint crudely restored; sm. dam. spot on frontcover; binding worn along extremities.

= From the library of Six van Hillegom (with his bookplate on upper pastedown). Contains the 150 psalms, all numbered in pen and ink in blank margin in contemporary hand. On the pen flourishes see: Kriezels, aubergines en takkenbossen, p.70: "Kenmerkend voor deze fraaie variant van het aubergine-penwerk zijn de in cirkels gevatte gestileerde bloemen".
