- Bookplate and owner's stamp of J.P. and W.S. Duvekot on upper pastedown and first free endpaper; occas. sl. stained. Upper joint starting at top of spine; upper corner frontcover and top of spine strengthened w. vellum; binding worn.

Finely bound PRESENTATION COPY: Spoelder 3: "Het Goesse type 3 komt voor het eerst voor in 1777 op de in gemarmerd leer gebonden presentatie-banden die, blijkens de meegebonden en voorbedrukte opdracht, de 39 genodigden bij de viering van het tweede eeuwfeest (...)"; cf.
