Manuscript in Latin on vellum, use of Paris, 14th/ 15th cent., (222) lvs., pen and brown and red ink, littera textualis, 21 lines to the page, leaves measuring ±14,4x10 cm., rubricated in red and blue ink, 6 foliate initials of various sizes in brown on a blue field, heightened w. gold, once in red frame, once in gold frame, 2 large initials in blue ink w. (faded) pen flourishing extending into margins (one without), 1 large initial in blue ink, music scores, 19th cent. panelled leather binding w. blindst. "IHS" ornament on both covers within ornamental borders, ties.

- Two lvs. lacking upper corner; 2 opposite pages soiled.

= Probably for the use in a Cistercian environment, given the saints mentioned in red ink in the Calendar: Robert (29 Apr.), Peter (8 May), Malachi (5 Nov.) and Edmund (16 Nov.). Interestingly, Louis IX (25 Aug.) is also mentioned in red. Dated on the last leaf, but illegible due to loss of ink, possibly 1461.
