Two anonymous aquatints, "Stad/ Ville" in contemp. handcolouring,, 22x24 cm., with engr. below the image the address of Gbs. Buffa, Amst., ±1800 and with stipple-engr. in outer lower margin the identification of the various people shown in the image (in the "Stad/ Ville" print i.a. a "Marchande de Vin" and a "Laitiere").

= Two fine, lively prints, both depicting people in various costumes standing before an inn, with the signpost "Vry Wyn" indicating that the duties on the wine have already been paid.
