Two drawings, pen and ink, grey wash, both 7x13,8 cm., 1x signed "L.R. de la Fosse f.", tipped together on 1 mount.

= German architect (of French origins) Louis Remy de La Fosse or Nicholas le Rouge, worked until 1705 as draughtsman in the atelier of Johann Friedrich Eosander in Berlin. In 1706 he became the court artchitect of Georg Ludwig of Hannover (later king George I of Great Britain). It is not certain whether these medallions were ever executed.
