= With (later) annotation in ballpoint on verso "La guerre 1914-1918". Henri Manuel was the official photographer of theFrench government between 1914-1944. Remarkable almost glamorous portrait.
= In the 1930's Robert Gordon Matzene, an American photographer, made a series of portraits of the ruling families of Nepal. The photographs were published in Royal Nepal 1930: Photographs by Robert Gordon Matzene (2009).
